A few new movies and screenshots of the game have been released on Tomshardware.com.

The video's show how impressive the Dunia engine is and reveal o few more dynamic features not known before.

Ubisoft have officially released a statement that Far Cry 2 will be released on the Xbox360 and PS 3 as well: Click Here!!

Is this the beginning of the end? Or do we still have faith in a solid game?

Well as its been Developed on the PC first, they wont downgrade it to console standards.

Yes, the graphics may be good, but usually controls, level design(map's) other things(like example saving) is fucked up and sadly it also affects to pc also(when they make multiple platform game).

It's always all about the loot, but the Xbox360 and the PS3 are more capable than some may realize I think. Now if you were talking about the PS2 or the Xbox I might agree Sotis, but the current consoles, Wii excluded, are pretty darn powerful little units. As far as the control sucking, well that's only a problem as long as Sony and Microshaft continue to ignore it. Sony, I believe, has actually addressed this with UT3. I think I read somewhere that they will offer a mouse for use with this game and their system. Hopefully MS will follow suit. I like all video games regardless of platform or format. Plus, I think consoles actually could be the way to go in terms of competitive gaming, as cheating could be significantly reduced, and the playing field leveled by everyone using the same rig. I'm not saying that PC's won't always be on the bleeding edge of what ever new tech is available, and showcase games not yet available on consoles due to some hardware restriction. Or even that PC isn't a superior gaming platform based purely in terms of things like customization and the freedom you have for modding and such. I'm just saying I think consoles are the core of the gaming community whether you like it or not, based on cost, availability and mainstream consumer awareness. Not to mention the richest man in the world has invested heavily and been pretty committed to dominating your living room with such devices. Don't forget, the next generation of these things is just around the corner according to rumor. 2010 may see the dawn of the new Microsoft console, and slightly tweaked refresh product from Nintendo and MS at least, may be here sooner than that even.
